APPLICATION RESULTS OF DRY METHOD VERIFICATION FOR POST-COMBUSTION CAPTURE CONTROL OF SULFUR REMOVAL IN LOW-POWER BOILERS
Abstract
Application results of dry method verification for post-combustion capture control of sulfur removal in low-power boilers during coal grate firing are considered. The analysis of dry sulphur dioxide-control method with regard to (for purposes of) high-sulfur coal firing in low-power boilers is performed. The causes limiting the efficiency of applied desulfurization methods are established. Dependence diagrams of stack gas sulphur dioxide concentration from furnace injection method (2,9 MW) during gas coal grate firing are provided. Total values of sulphur dioxide mitigation according to dry flue gas desulfurization used in low-power boilers are defined. Recommended practice for furnace injection improvement in order to minimize to the full sulphur dioxide concentration is provided. Bibl. 4, Fig. 5, Table. 1.
