Abstract

Software has been developed and laboratory complex has been created for study of different gases sorption-desorption processes with solid sorbents. The complex in particular consist of container with a sorbent, accessories, gas chromatograph, computerized measurement system and experimental data analysis, built on the ideology of open systems. In addition to process parameters fixing and recording, the system can automatically determines the gas composition before and after of the processes of adsorption and desorption, and calculates the calorific value of the gas mixture, which makes it possible to investigate the adsorption of a separate component of the gas mixture. System testing was performed with hydrogen on 8 samples of carbon material containing nanotubes at pressure of 1 MPa, temperature of 15–20 °C and desorption at 0.1 MPa and 300 °C.
